// Safeguard ยท Managed Security
Know your business is protected, and be able to prove it.
Securitise provides managed cyber security for UK businesses. We continuously protect and monitor your devices, accounts, email and data, so threats are stopped early and your team is not left interpreting security alerts.
// The result
What managed security means for you.
Threats stopped before they spread
Managed detection and response (MDR) means suspicious activity on your devices and cloud services is investigated and contained by security professionals, fast.
Fewer ways in
Vulnerability management and patching close the gaps attackers look for, while phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication, passkeys and Zero Trust principles protect every account.
Staff who spot the scam, even the convincing ones
Security awareness training and phishing simulation prepare your people for AI-written phishing, deepfake voice calls and payment fraud, turning them from the easiest target into an early warning system.
Data you can always recover
Immutable backup and tested recovery for your systems and Microsoft 365, so accidental deletion, ransomware or a lost device does not become a crisis.
Stolen identities caught early
Identity threat detection and dark web monitoring spot stolen passwords, hijacked sign-in sessions and suspicious logins, so accounts are secured before they are misused.
Answers for auditors and clients
Controls aligned with recognised standards such as Cyber Essentials, and reporting you can share with clients, lenders and insurers.
// How we do it
Security is our first priority, not an upsell.
The way we secure a business is what sets Securitise apart. We share our approach, tailored to your environment, in a conversation rather than on a web page.

// Managed security questions
Questions we are often asked.
What is managed detection and response (MDR)?
Managed detection and response combines security software on your devices and cloud services with people who review the alerts and act on them. Instead of your staff interpreting warnings, a security team investigates suspicious activity, contains threats and resolves them.
What is the difference between antivirus and EDR?
Traditional antivirus blocks known malicious files. Endpoint detection and response (EDR) watches behaviour on a device, so it can spot and stop new or unknown attacks, and gives security teams the detail they need to investigate.
Do small businesses really need managed security?
Yes. Smaller firms are frequent targets precisely because they rarely have dedicated security staff, and professional firms hold data that criminals value. Managed security gives a small business the protection and expertise of a security team without having to build one.
What is phishing-resistant MFA?
Phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication uses methods that cannot be tricked into working on a fake website, such as passkeys, Windows Hello for Business or FIDO2 security keys. Attackers now routinely steal one-time codes and sign-in sessions through fake login pages, so these stronger methods are becoming the standard for protecting Microsoft 365 accounts.
What is business email compromise?
Business email compromise is fraud where criminals take over or impersonate a trusted email account, often a director, supplier or client, to divert payments or steal information. It is one of the most costly attacks on UK businesses. Strong identity protection, email security, payment verification processes and staff awareness are the best defences.
What is Zero Trust?
Zero Trust is a security model that assumes no user or device is trusted by default. Every access request is verified using identity, device health and context, which limits the damage if an account or device is compromised.
