About the service
What does Securitise do?
Securitise is a UK managed security and IT services provider. We act as the complete IT and security team for small and mid-sized businesses, delivering managed cyber security, IT support and technology strategy.
What is the difference between an MSP and an MSSP?
A managed service provider (MSP) looks after IT: support, devices, networks and cloud services. A managed security service provider (MSSP) focuses on cyber security: monitoring, threat response and vulnerability management. Securitise does both, with security as the primary priority.
What size of business do you work with?
We work with small and mid-sized organisations, typically professional firms with 25 to 100 staff that do not have, or do not want to build, a full in-house IT and security team.
Which sectors do you specialise in?
Surveying and property, financial services, and professional practices and private offices: organisations that hold sensitive client data and are asked to prove how they protect it.
Do you help with Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI?
Yes. We help businesses adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot and other AI tools safely: preparing data and permissions, setting AI policy and governance, meeting compliance expectations and training staff to use it well. See AI and Copilot.
Do you only support Microsoft 365?
Microsoft 365 and Azure are at the centre of most of the environments we manage, and we make full use of Microsoft’s security capabilities. We also support the devices, networks, phones, internet connections and line-of-business applications around them.
Support
How do we get help when something goes wrong?
Your staff contact our service desk by phone, email or chat, and an engineer who knows your environment takes ownership until the issue is resolved.
Do you provide out-of-hours IT support?
Yes. Out-of-hours help is available for urgent and business-critical issues.
Do you offer on-site support?
Yes. Most issues are resolved remotely, which is fastest, and on-site visits are arranged when needed.
Security and compliance
Why choose a provider that does both IT and security?
When the same team runs your IT and your security, nothing falls between two suppliers. Security is built into every change, device and account rather than checked afterwards.
Can you get us Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus?
Yes. We prepare your environment, help you through the assessment and keep the controls in place for renewal. The certificate itself is issued by an accredited certification body.
Can you help with security questionnaires from our clients or lenders?
Yes. We help you answer security due-diligence questionnaires accurately, and put the underlying controls in place so the answers are true.
How do we stop staff putting client data into AI tools?
Combine a clear AI acceptable-use policy with approved alternatives such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, and technical controls that detect and restrict risky AI apps and prevent sensitive information being shared. Blocking AI outright rarely works; people simply find another way.
Is our Microsoft 365 data backed up?
Microsoft does not provide a full backup of Microsoft 365. We provide independent backup of email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams, so data can be recovered when needed.
Switching and pricing
How hard is it to switch IT provider?
Less disruptive than most expect. A structured onboarding plan with clear milestones keeps your team working throughout, and we coordinate the handover with your current provider. Your proposal includes a specific timeline.
Will we need to change our existing systems?
Only where it improves security, reliability or cost. We document what you have, keep what works, and agree any changes with you, with most standardisation work included in the service.
How is the price calculated?
